Jetsam

Jetsam is a text-based RPG adventure, in which you wash up on the shore of a tropical utopia, a shocking contrast to the collapsing dystopia you left behind. What's more, you're stuck there for a year. Will you use your time to convince the islanders to let you stay, or will you take what you learn there back to your world, either for personal gain or to save it? It's up to you, but every choice you make changes what people think of you and ultimately decides how it all ends.

Jetsam is a game I developed in my senior year in college and in fact used for my thesis. No joke—this game is the reason I graduated and have a degree in game design. The game was made over the course of a year, but the world in which it takes place was a labor of love for most of my college career, so I figured I'd post it here and let you see the work I'm proud of.

WARNING: The game has no Save/Load system as of yet, so you'll have to keep it going in a tab and make sure not to close it, or you'll have to redo all your choices again.
